본 연구는 청소년의 역기능적 심리특성인 충동성 및 공격성, 우울과 그들의 인터넷 중독 및 사이버관련 비행과의 관계를 알아보기 위하여 충동성 및 공격성, 우울을 예언변인으로, 사이버 관련 비행을 준거변인으로, 인터넷 중독을 매개변인으로 수행되었다. 분석대상은 광주광역시에 소재한 2개의 중학교 학생 503명과 4개의 고등학교 학생 462명으로 전체 965명이다. 본 연구는 인터넷 중독을 매개변인으로 하여 충동성, 공격성, 우울, 사이버 관련 비행과의 관계모형을 검증하기 위하여 AMOS를 이용한 공변량 구조분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 충동성 및 공격성은 인터넷 중독과 사이버 관련 비행에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 우울은 인터넷 중독에는 직접적인 영향을 미쳤지만 사이버관련 비행에는 의미 있는 영향을 미치지 못했다. 인터넷 중독은 충동성 및 공격성, 우울과 사이버관련 비행과의 관계에서 매개효과를 보이고 있다. 본 연구에서는 청소년의 사이버 관련 비행에 대한 시사점과 후속연구를 위한 제언을 개진하였다.

This study investigated the relationship among adolescents` dysfunctional psychological traits, internet addiction, and cyber-related delinquencies. Participants were 503 middle school students and 463 high school students (N=965, 51.3% boys, 48.7% girls) in Gwang-ju metropolitan city. Measures included internet addiction, impulsiveness, hostility, depression, and cyber-related delinquencies. In the model, prediction variables were adolescents` dysfunctional psychological traits (i.e., impulsivity, aggression and depression), mediation variable was internet addiction, and outcome variable was cyber-related delinquency. AMOS was used for covariance structural analyses to test the relationship model. Results indicated impulsivity and aggression were directly associated with internet addiction and cyber-related delinquencies. Depression was directly associated with internet addiction, but did not with cyber-related delinquencies. The relation between adolescents` dysfunctional psychological traits (impulsivity, depression, and depression) and cyber-related delinquencies was mediated by internet addiction. The implications of these findings for adolescents` counseling and guidance are discussed.
