본 연구의 목적은 경력차단 여성의 취업을 지원하는 집단상담 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 분석 하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 여성의 경력개발 특징을 설명하고 있는 Bandura(1977)의 자기효능감 (self-efficacy), 경력장애와 관련된 이론, 그리고 Albert Ellis(1982)의 인지재구성이론 등을 검토하여 이 프로그램의 이론적인 근거로 삼았다. 프로그램의 완성을 위하여 직업상담사와의 지속적 조언과 시범운영을 실시하였으며 시범운영 결과, 프로그램 참여 전에 비하여 "취업에 관한 긍정적 의지가 향상되었다", "나도 할 수 있다는 자신감을 회복하였다", "나의 꿈을 다시한번 생각하게 된 계기가 되었다" 등과 같이 프로그램이 목표한 바에 대한 긍정적 결과를 확인하였다. 최종적으로 개발된 프로그램의 내용요소는 자기이해(비타민 A), 부정적 생각 바꾸기(비타민 B), 자신감 갖기(비타민 C), 여성특화 진 로정보탐색하기(비타민 D), 취업계획 수립하기(비타민 E), 그리고 효과적 구직 기술 익히기(비타민 F) 로 구성되었다. 이때 비타민의 각 요소가 개입되어 여성의 취업준비를 지원한다는 의미로서 프로그램 명칭과 각 6개 하위요소의 명칭에 비타민(vitamin)이라는 이름을 붙이고, "여성의 취업지원 비타민 프로그램"이라 명명하였다. 본 프로그램의 구조는 총 6개 상위요소와 15개 하위요소로 구분되며, 각 하위요소는 집단 활동으로 연결되어 프로그램 참가 여성간의 상호작용과 역동성에 중점을 두어 개발 되었다. 최종 개발된 프로그램의 효과성을 검증하기위하여 7명의 여성내담자를 모집하여 2005년 2달 에 걸쳐 8회기로 재조정된 모듈을 운영하였으며 결과 분석을 통하여 향후 본 프로그램의 효과적 운 영 및 보급·확산을 위한 제언을 본 연구는 제시하고 있다.

This paper was purpose to develop the program for women who are discontinued their career because of housework and motherhood, and analyze the effectiveness of the program. For the purpose, consisting 6 areas and 15 modules were developed as a 「women focused Vitamin progra m」for supporting their job searching and self-confidence on career development. Program philosophy, core contents, delivery methods and expected outcomes were described in the paper. For testing the effectiveness of program, 6 cases were participated this program during 2months with 8 certain times. Each time took three and half hours to finish. Based on the quantitative and qualitative results, this paper confirmed that the program is the effectiveness tool to support women`s career development especially women who are discontinued their career because of marriage and motherhood. Several research limitations were criticised, and research methodology were recommended for further study. Finally this paper discussed and suggested several guideline and recommendations in effective dissemination and administration of this program for fulfilling the purpose.
