본 연구의 목적은 보육시설 수용 아동을 대상으로 집단미술치료 프로그램이 정서에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 이를 통계적 분석을 통해 그 효과성을 검증하고자 하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 P보육원에 수용되어 있는 8명의 아동들에게 집단미술치료 프로그램을 실시하고, 정서지능의 하위영역인 정서인식 능력, 정서표현 능력, 정서조절 능력, 대인관계 능력에서 사전ㆍ사후검사를 실험집단과 통계집단별로 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 집단미술치료 프로그램은 집단구성원의 정서조절 능력과 대인관계 능력향상에 영향을 미쳤다. 이를 통하여, 집단미술치료 프로그램은 보육시설 수용아 동의 정서를 함양시키는 데 효과가 있었다고 판단된다.

This research has examined the effect of group art therapy to the children`s emotional cultivation in an orphanage. For this research, 8 children in the P orphanage participated in group art therapies and had been divided by each experimental group and control group. The research analyzed the changes of emotional recognition, expression, regulation and interpersonal skills before and after the research. The result of this research are following: First, the experimental group has been increased emotional intelligence after the group art therapy. Second, there is no indication of changes of emotional recognition for the experimental group. Third, there is no indication of changes of emotional expression for the experimental group. Fourth, the experimental group has been increased emotional regulation after the group art therapy. Fifth, the experimental group has been increased interpersonal relationship skills after the group art therapy. Finally, the evaluation of participants for the program concluded by helping children`s emotional regulation and interpersonal relationship. In summary, group art therapy had been positively changed participants` emotional regulation and interpersonal relationship, and this research also indicated positive changes of children`s emotional cultivation.
