본 연구에서는 귀인 성향과 진로행동의 관계를 살펴본 후 귀인 성향이 진로 행동에 미치는 영향이 직접적인지, 아니면 사회인지적 진로이론에서 가정된 대로 지각된 진로장벽, 진로결정 효능감과 같은 매개 변인을 통해 간접적으로 영향을 미치는지를 확인하고, 그 영향력의 차이를 비교하였다. 332명의 대학생에게 귀인성향검사, 진로결정수준검사, 진로준비행동검사, 진로결정 효능감 척도, 진로장벽검사를 실시하였으며 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 귀인 성향과 진로행동들(진로결정수준, 진로준비행동, 진로결정 효능감, 지각된 진로장벽)간에는 통계적으로 유의미한 관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 자기 귀인 성향의 대학생들이 타인 귀인 성향의 대학생들보다 모든 진로행동 척도에서 높은 점수를 보여주었다. 셋째, 진로행동에 미치는 귀인 성향의 직접적인 영향력은 적었지만 매개변인을 통한 간접적인 영향력은 크게 나타났다. 진로결정 효능감의 경우 귀인 성향에 관계없이 진로결정수준과 진로준비행동 모두에 대한 매개 효과가 큰 것으로 나타났지만 지각된 진로장벽의 경우에는 진로결정수준에 대한 매개 효과만 나타나고 진로준비행동에 대한 매개 효과는 나타나지 않아 차이를 보여주었다. 이상의 연구 결과를 선행연구 및 진로상담 실제와 관련지어 논의한 후 연구의 시사점과 제한점을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to find the relation of attribution style and career behaviors in college students and to recognize the moderator effects of career decision making self efficacy and perceived career barriers. Attribution style inventory, Career Decision Scale, Career Preparation Behavior Scale, Career Barriers Inventory, and Career Decision Making Self efficacy Scale were administered to 332 college students. The analysis showed the following findings. First, the college students‘ attribution style and career behaviors(career decision making level, career preparation behavior, and career decision making self efficacy) showed a statistically significant correlations. Second, the college students of self attribution style showed high scores than the students of other attribution style in all career behaviors indexes. Third, attribution styles` direct effects on career behaviors were low but the in direct effects through career decision making self efficacy are relatively high. Based on the findings of this study, implications of career counseling of college students were widely discussed with relation to the previous research and the limitations if research were discussed.
