본 연구에서는 성격특성 검사의 일종인 수정판 다면 페르소나 검사를 개발하고, 그타당도를 검증 하고자 하였다. 기존 다면 페르소나 검사에서 61문항을 선별하고, Stone과 Stone(1989a)의 책, 기존 페르소나 검사 문항 및 일부 페르소나가 잘 발달된 사람들의 보고를 근거로 문항을 더 제작하고 수집 하여 총 119문항의 예비검사를 구성하였으며, 내용타당도 검증 및 요인분석을 통하여 문항을 선정 하였다. 요인분석 시에 보호통제 페르소나는 따로 요인분석을 실시하였고, 나머지 페르소나 척도들 은 함께 묶어 요인분석을 시행하였다. 그 결과 보호통제 페르소나 척도에는 1개의 요인이 추출되었고, 나머지 척도들을 모두 포함한 요인분석에서는 8개의 요인이 추출되었다. 추출된 전체 문항수는 97문항이었으며, 각 요인당 문항수는 8-13개였다. 신뢰도 검증 결과, 각 페르소나 척도(요인)의 내 적 일치도 계수는 .77-.89로 양호하였고, 검사-재검사 신뢰도는 비판적인 페르소나는 .69로 다소 낮 은 편이었지만, 나머지 척도들은 .77-.85로 양호하였다. 관련된 다른 척도들을 실시하여 페르소나 척 도들과의 상관을 구하여 수렴 및 변별타당도를 확인하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구가 지니는 의의와 제한점, 그리고 추후 연구를 위한 제안 사항을 기술하였다.

The purpose of this study is to develop the Revised Multiphasic Persona Inventory and test its validity. A total of 119 items were made and selected on the basis of original Persona Inventory, Stone & Stone`s book (1989a) and the verbatim of voice dialogue. The number of the items was reduced to 114 by doing the test of content validity. And then, the data of 699 university students were analyzed by two exploratory factor analyses. At 1st, items of the Protector-Controller were analyzed by the factor analysis. And then, other total items were analyzed by factor analysis. The results were that one factor was selected in the Protector- Controller scale and 8 factors were selected in the other total scales. The final inventory has a total of 97 items and nine factors. And then, the data of 55 students were analyzed in order to test the test-retest reliablity and the data of 276 students were analyzed in order to test the validity, in which we correlate each Persona Scale with related scales. The reliablities (Cronbach`s α) of nine factors(Persona Scales) ranged from .77 to .89, and the test-retest reliabilities ranged from .69 to .85. The validities were found to be good. Suggestions and limitations of this study were discussed, and some ideas of further research were suggested.
