본 연구의 목적은 대학생을 대상으로 애착유형과 심리적 안녕감의 관계를 사회적 관심이 매개하는 지 살펴보는 것이었다. 연구 결과 첫째, 애착과 심리적 안녕감 사이에 유의미한 관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 애착과 사회적 관심 사이에 유의미한 관계가 나타났다. 셋째, 애착 및 사회적 관심과 심리적 안녕감 사이에 유의미한 관계가 나타나 사회적 관심이 애착과 심리적 안녕감을 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점을 중심으로 추후 연구방향을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of social interest on the relationship between attachment and psychological well-being of college students. The most significant results were as follows. First, attachment was significantly related to psychological well-being. Second, attachment was significantly related to social interest. Third, attachment and social interest were significantly related to psychological well-being. Finally, attachment influenced psychological well-being mainly through mediating social interest. Based on these results, the implications for counselors were discussed.
