본 연구는 자살의 위기개입 방법들 중, 학교장면에서 학생 또는 교사가 자살로 사망하였을 경우의 위기개입, 즉, 사후중재(postvention)에 대해 살펴볼 것이다. 이를 위해, 학교 시스템이 자살의 사후중 재에 관여하게 될 경우 따르는 일반적인 위기관리(crisis management)의 절차와 자살 사후중재의 구성 요소들을 살펴보고, 특히, 사후중재의 한 요소인 집단 위기개입에 대해 소개할 것이다. 마지막으로,한국의 학교상황에 맞는 사후중재 프로그램의 개발 필요성과 그 방향에 관해 의견을 제시한다.

This article reviews suicide postvention methods in school settings in terms of crisis management procedure and specific components of suicide postvention. In addition, group crisis intervention or psychological debriefing, one component of suicide postvention, is explained with the Brock`s schoolbased model. It is suggested that the Korean society need to develop crisis management systems, especially for suicide postvention in schools.
