본 연구는 관용성 척도(Tolerance Scale)의 표준화를 목적으로 수행되었다. 연구대상 지역을 3개 권역 (서울·경기권역, 대구·경상권역, 광주·전라권역)으로 나누어서 실시하였으며, 연구대상자는 권역 별로 900명씩 지역적 분배를 고려하여 총 2,700명이었지만, 회수된 설문지에서 응답이 불성실한 230 명을 제외한 2,470명의 대학생들이었다. 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하여 최종문항으로 56문항이 선정되었고, 인간존중(24문항), 이타행동(18문항), 용서(14문항)의 3개 하위영역의 요인으로 구성되었다. 확 인적 요인분석으로 실시한 구조방정식 모형으로 구조의 적합도가 유의하게 검증되었고 모형의 간명 성도 입증되었다. 신뢰도 검증 결과 관용성 척도 전체 Cronbach α 계수는 .934이었고, 3개 요인의 Cronbach α 계수는 .797에서 .887이었다. 척도의 반분신뢰도 계수는 전체가 .888이었고, 3개 요인의 반분신뢰도 계수는 .753에서 .878이었다. 그리고, 3개 권역(서울·경기권역, 대구·경상권역, 광주· 전라권역)의 소재 대학생 1,421명을 대상으로 3주간의 검사-재검사 신뢰도 검증 결과는 .893이었다. 타당도 검증 결과에서도 수렴타당도, 변별타당도가 의의 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 마지막으로 본 연 구의 제한점 및 추후연구의 시사점을 논의하였다.

The goal of this study is to standardize Tolerance scale. The area of the study was divided into three districts such as Seoul in Gyunggi, Daegu in Gyeongsang, and Gwangju in Jeonnam. The subjects of this study are total 2,700 who were composed of 900 people per in different areas. And at last the subjects of it were fixed 2,470 university students except for 230 people who hadn`t answered the given Questionnaire. The final questions of questionnaire consist of the 56 questions that are used for in exploratory analysis: respect for persons(24Q), altruistic(18Q), and forgiveness(14Q). Structural goodness-of-fit was proved both structural equation model form and parsimony by an analyzed factors. The total score of Tolerance scale demonstrated excellent internal reliability (.934) and the internal reliability of three factors was from .797 to .887. Tolerance scale split-half reliability factor was total .888 and three factors` split-half reliability factors were from .753 to .878. And the test-retest reliability result of 1,421 university students of three areas(Seoul in Gyunggi, Daegu in Gyeongsang, and Gwangju in Jeonnam) for 3 weeks was .893. Validity result was the reliability of convergent validity and discriminant validity. Finally, we will have to discuss the limitation and post study`s suggestion of this study.
