본 연구에서는 대학생을 대상으로 그들의 현재 애착유형이 사회적 지지의 지각에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 애착유형과 지각된 사회적 지지와의 관계에서 사회 망 지향의 매개효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 206명의 대학생을 대상으로 애착유형, 사회 망 지향 및 사회적 지지의 특성들을 측정하기 위한 질문지가 사용되었다. 연구결과, 회피애착이 높을수록 지각된 사회적 지지의 양이 적은 것으로 나타났으며, 안정애착이 높고 불안애착이 낮을수록 대학생들은 사회 망으로부터 지각된 사회적 지지에 대해 높은 만족감을 보였다. 또한, 사회 망 지향은 대학생의 애착유형과 사회적 지지에 대한 지각간의 관계를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 청년기 긍정적인 사회 망 지향의 형성을 위한 사회적 지지프로그램의 필요성, 또래상담과 멘토링 제도의 활용 및 개인의 상담추구 행동과 관련한 논의가 있었다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between current attachment style and the perceptions of the social support and whether this relationship is mediated by individual`s network orientation among college students. Two hundreds and six college students completed questionnaires regarding attachment style, network orientation, and perceptions of the social support. The result showed that the more individuals showed avoidant attachment, the less perceived amount of social support they reported. Also, the more individuals showed secure attachment, the more satisfied with their perceived social support they reported. Anxious attachment style was also associated with less satisfaction with perceived social support. In addition, the results showed that network orientation mediated the relationships between current attachment style and perceptions of the social support. The implications of these findings were discussed.
