이 연구는 한국판 자기 통제력 척도를 타당화 하는 것을 그 목적으로 하였다. 중부권 소재 고등학교에 재학 중인 고등학생 319명에게 자기 통제력 척도, 아이젱크 충동성 검사, 한국판 공격성 검사, 비행척도를 소책자로 묶어 집단으로 실시하였다. 이 검사 자료를 바탕으로 탐색적 요인분석을 하였다. 그 결과 6요인 모델이 추출되었다. 한국판 자기 통제력 척도는 충동성 검사, 공격성 검사와 적절한 상관을 보였으며, 비행을 유의하게 예측하였다. 마지막으로 이 연구의 시사점, 제언, 한계를 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to validate korean version of the self-control scale. 319 students participated in this study. 255 of them was used in final statistical analysis. Six factors were extracted from the factor analysis. Low Self-control was positively related to high impulsivity, aggression and delinquency. Implications are discussed and suggestions for future research are provided.
