孝田 沈魯崇 (1762~1837)은 아내에 대한 悼亡詩文을 대표로 하는 感傷的인 글들 이 기존에 소개되었었다. 그는 정치적인 이유로 1801년부터 1806년까지 機張縣에 유배되었는데 유배생활을 빠짐없이 일기로 남겼다. 본고는 심노숭의 유배일기를 중심으로 小品작가의 문학에서의 孤獨의 표출 양상을 해보고자 쓰여졌다. 그 기초 단계로서 심노숭이 유배에 처하게 된 가문적, 정 치적 내력과 유배일기 『南遷日錄』및 이것의選錄인 『山海筆戱』 에 대한 문헌적 고찰을 2장과 3장에서 우선 알아보았다. 『山海筆戱』는 『南遷日錄』에서 총 551話를選錄한 것이다. 4장에서는 流配人 심노숭의 고독의 양상과 그 消遣方法으로 택한 ``문필`` 활동을 소개하였다. 사실 심노숭 유배일기에서 확인되는 심노숭의 孤獨은 全面的 이지도 않 고, 큰 분량을 차지하지도 않는다. 다만 感情 의 여린 선을 그 어떤 문인보다 강하게 가지고 있던 인물이기에, 유배일기에도 특유의 孤獨 과 感傷 이 종종 드러나 있다. 이를 소개해보았다. 심노숭은 유배지의 고독과 고통을 다양한 글쓰기 작업 즉 ``文筆``로 해소했다. 일기 의 형식으로 생활의 모든 것을 담아 고향으로 보냈는데 모친을 위해 諺文으로 번역하 기까지 했다. 아우의 일기와 交換 도 겸하였다. 그의 일기 속에는 유배지의 낯선 風光 과 事物·物産, 역사와 인물, 자신이 겪은 政爭 과 당대의 정치 상황이 상세하게 적혀 있다. 수준 높으면서도 감동력 있는 人物記事, 事件記事, 문예성 있는 잡록 등 자유 로운 문체의 들이 탄생했다. 향후 심노숭 유배일기를 동시기(이옥, 김려 등)의 유배문학 및 선후의 유배문학과 대비 고찰을 통해 그만의 독특한 특성을 추출하는 것이 과제로 남아있다. 심노숭 문 학에의 깊은 영향으로서의 蘇軾·元진과, 불교 도교조차 자신의 삶과 생활에 밀착시 킨 심노숭의 독특성 등도 향후 考究 의 대상이다.

Some of Sim No-sung`s literary works such like sentimental prose and poem, already have introduced to the public. He had been exiled to Changgi county from 1801 to 1806, and he wrote his diary without omission during that period. In this paper, I studied the aspect of loneliness found in his literature, especially focusing on his journal. As the first step, I investigated the political reason of his exile. And then I researched Namch ?n Ilnok and Sanhae p ilgi by textual studies. Sanhae p ilgi is a selected collection of Namch ?n Ilnok. In the second place, I introduced the aspect of loneliness in his literature, and his creating activity. In fact, the loneliness in his literary works is nither outright nor massive. However, as he stick to his delicate emotions during his entire life, we can find his loneliness and sentiments from his journal. He tried to solve his loneliness and pain by creating literature. He wrote every phase of his exile life in journal, and he sent it to his home. Furthermore, he translated it into the Korean alphabet for his mother. Sometimes he exchanged his journal for his brother`s journal. He wrote the products, things, historical feature, political situations, and scenery in his journal with free touch. And his journal itself was a high standard literary work. I will look for his unique characteristics by comparing with other writers. And the connections with Su shi(蘇軾) and Yuan Zehn(元진) also is an important task.
