In this paper I tried to point out what are the similarities and differences between Richard III and Yeunsankoon. Richard shows the devilish acts of murdering the royal people whom he thinks to be hinderance to the crown. The cause of Richard`s revenge comes from his innate deformity, while that of Yeunsankoon comes from his post natural character. Yeunsankoon`s inability of political control and the doubt of his dead mother made him mad. Richard murdered so many people to get the crown which he believes to be a reward for his deformity. Yeunsankoon murdered many people to keep his kingship. The revealed fact that his mother was dead by the poison made Yeunsankoon mad badly. Richard is regarded as a victim of his distorted character and the conflict of the two political parties. Yeunsankoon is thought to be a victim of the distorted and wicked character and political conflict. (Hannam University)
