본고는 牧隱 李穡의 한시에서 ‘老年’과 ‘日常’이 결합된 작품들을 주목하여 高麗後期 한시의 동력 중 한 갈래와 한국한시다움의 한 방향을 가늠해 본 것이다. 목은의 노년기 한시는 일상이라는 소재와 주제를 광범위하게 형상화하여 日常詩의 선구를 이루었다는 점에서 논의의 가치가 충분하고 판단하였다. 본론에서는 목은 노년기 한시와 일상의 상관성을 집중적으로 논의하였다. 그 결과 노년기의 목은이 시쓰기를 일상화하면서 일상이 시의 영역으로 대거 유입되는 양상, 일상과 연관된 소재의 광범위한 확장, 시의 내부에서 기록성이 강화되어가는 추세, 노년기의 몸과 정신을 향한 자기 응시 경향과 치열한 자기 대면의 정신을 고찰할 수 있었다. 이는 목은 개인의 사례를 넘어 일상과 노년의 상관성, 노년기의 시적 특성과 그 지평을 성찰하도록 유도하였다. 연이어, 목은의 일상시가 시의 예술성을 훼손시켰는가[點金作鐵], 반대로 새로운 시적 경지를 개척하였는가[點鐵成金]? 라는 물음을 제기하여 그의 시에 함축된 양면성을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 목은의 관점에서 본다면 觀物省察의 검증 공간이자 삶의 자세를 확인하는 영역이 일상이었음을 밝히는 한편으로, 일상을 문학으로 승화시킨 경로를 증명하였다. 생활 현장에서의 포착력, 긴장감과 생동감을 언어적으로 숙성시킨 예가 이에 해당하였다. 나아가 목은의 일상시가 조선후기의 ‘朝鮮詩’와 연결될 수 있음을 가설적으로 제기하였다. 노년의 한시가 제재, 작법, 감수성의 여러 층위에서 까다로운 제약으로부터 풀려남으로써 작시 주체의 삶과 환경에 밀착되는 과정이 조선시의 진로와 겹쳐질 수 있음을 제안하였다. 결론적으로 그의 노년기 일상시는 한국한시사에서 일상을 전면화한 시사적 의의와 함께, 일상과 한시의 접속되는 소중한 사례, 나아가 한국한시다움을 증명하는 선구자로서의 가치를 지닌다고 하겠다.

This article aimed to examine a part of motive powers of Sino-Korean poetry in the latter part of Goryeo and the direction of Sino-Korean poetry, by focusing on works combined with ``old age`` and ``daily life`` from Sino-Korean poetry by Mokeun Lee Saek. The old age poetry by Lee Saek was considered to have value for discussion as it is the leader in poetry on daily life by extensively embodying the materials and subjects of daily life. In the body, the correlation between daily life and the old age poetry by Lee Saek was mainly discussed. In the results, we were able to consider an aspect in which daily life was largely flowed in the poetic territory as Mokeun at old age routinized writing poetry, wide extension of materials related to daily life, the tendency in which the characteristics of record is strengthened in his poetry, self-staring towards his body and mind at old age, and intense self-confrontation spirit. This induces introspection of correlation between daily life and old age, poetic characteristics of old age and its prospect, beyond the personal case of Mokeun. Raising a question asking if Lee Saek`s poetry on daily life damaged the artistry of poetry or pioneered a new poetic stage, the double-sidedness inherent in his poetry was analyzed. In the results, we verified not only that his daily life was a territory to identify the attitude of life and also a space of verifying introspection through observation in the viewpoint of Lee Saek, but also the channel to sublimate daily life in literature. An example showing that capturing ability, tension and vividness in the field of daily life are matured linguistically falls under this. Moreover, we hypothetically suggested that Lee Saek`s poetry on daily life can be connected to Joseon way Poetry(Sino-Korean Poetry with individuality of it) of the latter part of Joseon Dynasty. It was suggested that the process in which Sino-Korean poetry is contacted to the life and environment of the main agent who writes poetry can be overlapped with the path of Joseon way poetry as it is released from selective restrictions in various layers such as sanction, writing technique and sensitivity. In conclusion, his old age poetry on daily life is valuable as a valuable case combined with daily life and Sino-Korean poetry and also a leader in demonstrating the beauty of Korean poetry, with its suggestive significance in which daily life is shown in the forepart of Sino-Korean poetry.
