국어과 PCK는 국어과 수업을 이끌어가는 초등 교사의 수업 전문성을 높이는 데 기여할 수 있는 핵심 요소 중 하나이다. 이것은 국어과 교과내용 지식, 국어과 교수학습방법 지식, 국어과 상황 지식 등이 총체적으로 발휘되는 것을 의미한다. 이 연구에서는 국어 수업 분석을 통해 예비교사와 경력교사의 PCK를 비교, 분석하였다. 분석 대상은 각 10개의 수업 동영상과 수업 지도안, 면담 자료 등이다. 연구 결과 대체로 예비교사는 의사소통 능력 신장에 수업의 지향점을 두고 있었으며, 교과서 중심의 수업 이해, 수업 모형의 도식적 적용, 심리학적 발달에 기반을 둔 학생 이해, 매체 친화적 등의 특징을 보였다. 그에 비해 경력 교사는 국어 문화, 가치 등 다양한 측면에서 수업의 지향점을 보였으며, 교육과정의 중요시, 모둠 활동의 강조, 상황에 대한 적절한 수업 대응, 교과 발달에 기반을 둔 학생 이해, 실제 상황 고려한 환경 이해 등의 입장을 보였다. 이 연구는 예비교사와 경력교사의 국어 수업에 관한 PCK 비교를 통하여 경험과 특성을 유형화해 보았다는 데 그 의미가 있다.

This purpose of this study was to investigate the PCK(Pedagogical content knowledge) of the Korean language subject in order to grasp the instruction specialty. PCK for Korean language education can be estabilished based on the general elements of PCK, namely subject matter knowledge, general pedagogical knowledge, and situation knowledge. In order to accomplish this research purpose, I analyzed Korean language instruction, teaching guide, interview data. It based on PCK point of view, pre-service teacher and career teacher. Pre-service teachers show a tendancy ‘instruction understanding of textbook’, ‘schematic application of learning model’, ‘be friendly media’. Career teachers show a tendancy ‘instruction understanding of curriculum’, ‘emphasis of group activity’, ‘congruity of real situation’. I will hope to reinforce PCK of Korean language education during the training course for pre-service or current Korean language education teachers.
