이 연구는 공공디자인과 역사가 어우러진 미술문화 축제이다. 이 연구의 목적은 안산 단원미술축제에 관한 디자인과 방문객 만족도 조사이다. 본 축제 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구는 안산 단원미술축제는 유명한 일화를 소재로 하고 있다. 둘째, 안산 단원미술축제 팜플렛 등 많은 축제디자인들이 방문객에게 장소 안내 등의 도움을 주고 있으며 디자인교육적인 효과도 거둘 수 있다. 셋째, 안산 단원미술축제 설문조사는 방문객들을 위한 효과와 함께 축제 실행에 많은 도움을 줄 것이다. 넷째, 올해보다 더 나은 안산 단원미술축제축제를 위해, 방문객들을 위한 디자인과 기획이 필요하다는 것을 알게 하였고 안산 단원미술축제 기획자에게 시사점을 제시하였다.

Little research has been done about arts festival which combined fine arts and history. The purposes of this research were to investigate the satisfaction of public design and services of Ansan Kimhongdo Fine Arts Festival. The results of this study were founded as following: First, experience based events were popular. Second, while pamphlet design is founded as suitable for visitors` educational effectiveness, they should be more developed for visitors` finding events` places easily. Third, it was found that interpretation for target visitors were not only effective but also practical. Fourth, introducing experience-oriented programs and facilities are recommended to festival planners for better festival than this year. This research gives many directions for Ansan Kimhongdo Fine Arts Festival planners.
