매체가 정보를 단방향적으로 전달하고 대중은 그것을 수동적으로 받아들였던 과거의 행태와 달리 최근에는 소비자가 정보의 제작 단계부터 참여하여 구성과 배포까지 관여하는 새로운 형식의 뉴미디어 시대가 도래하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 종래의 독서 형태를 확장하여 독자의 적극적인 참여가 이루어지는 인터랙티브 텍스트의 실험을 시도하여 전통적 아날로그 미디어의 형식과 감상 방법의 확장에 대한 가능성을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구의 의도는 독자와 텍스트 매체 간의 내면적 상호작용을 시각화하는 것이며, 연구의 결과로 제작된 인터랙티브 텍스트 어플리케이션을 통해 정보가 질서 있게 조직되어 있는 선형적 구조의 텍스트 매체보다 좀 더 인간 의식 작용의 본성에 근접한 새로운 형식과 느낌을 독자로 하여금 경험하게 하는 것이다. 또한 새로운 형식과의 접목을 통해 전통적 콘텐츠를 재해석하고 재구성하여 디지털미디어 시대에 필요한 새로운 콘텐츠 미디어를 만들어 내고자 하며, 이는 전통적인 텍스트 매체가 디지털 환경에서 어떻게 그 기능이 확장될 수 있는가에 대한 연구이다. 본 연구를 통해 융복합 미디어 시대가 필요로 하는 새로운 형식의 문화 콘텐츠 개발에도 하나의 가능성을 제시함으로써 콘텐츠 산업 발전에 일조하기를 희망한다.

Today, unlike the past that media deliver information and the general public passively accepted it, a new era of new media that consumers participate in the early stage of information production and have the role of composition and distribution comes up. Hereupon, this research intends to suggest the possibility of expanding the form and reading of traditional analog text by the experiment about interactive text in which users can actively participate. The aim of the research is to visualize the internal interaction between reader and text, and provide users with the experience of the new form and feeling from the interactive text application which is closer to human brain`s activity than a well-organized linear text media. Moreover, it could create new content for digital media through mixing traditional content and a new form of enjoying. This trial is to find out how conventional media could expand its function in digital environment. I hope to assist the development of content industry with suggesting possibility of creating a new type of culture content.
