This study suggests the poetry writing strategies of ‘discovering the world’, ‘interpreting the world’ and ‘making the meaning’. Those are focused on world understanding activity of students, because the core values of literary education are to understand the world correctly. Teaching those strategies are meaningful activities to students. first, students can adjust the aesthetical distance between they and the world as increasing their ability to interpret the world. second, students can form their identity with recognize individuality through the difference of context to interpret the world. third, students can discover the significance of their existence as well as the world by configuring the meaning of the world.
