본 연구에서는 대학생 상담에 흔히 활용되는 문장완성검사를 통해 대학생의 자아분화와 부모화 정도를 파악할 수 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 2개 지역 소재 2개 대학교의 학생 145명이 작성한 자아분화와 부모화 검사결과와 이들이 작성한 문장완성검사 내용을 분석대상으로 하였다. 대학생들의 문장완성내용을 긍정, 부정, 중립으로 분류한 다음, 자아분화와 부모화 검사 점수의 고, 저에 따라 집단을 나누고 긍정, 부정, 중립 응답의 빈도와 내용을 비교분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 고 부모화 집단이 더 긍정적인 기술을 많이 하였으며 가정의 분위기에 대해 고 부모화 집단은 화목하거나 다툼, 서툰 애정표현을, 저 부모화 집단의 대학생들은 귀여워하고 좋아해주거나 경제적으로 어렵거나 가부장적인 태도를 주로 표현한 차이를 나타냈다. 둘째, 자아분화 고저별 차이에서, 아버지에 대한 긍정적 인식은 고 분화 집단의 대학생들에게서 더 높은 비율로 나타났으나 어머니에 대한 인식은 문항에 따라 혼합된 결과가 나타났다. 고 분화 집단의 대학생은 아버지에 대해 자신을 이해해 줌, 친구같이 친근한 사이로 묘사하였으며 저 분화 집단의 대학생은 가족을 사랑함, 애틋한 사이로 묘사하였고, 어머니에 대해서는 고 분화 집단의 대학생은 자신을 이해해줌을, 저 분화 집단의 대학생은 자신을 사랑해 줌을 주로 묘사한 차이를 나타냈다.

The purpose of this study is to examine whether characteristics of parentification and self-differentiation levels of university students are reflected in SCT. 120 university students of 2 university completed the parentification questionnaire-adult, self-differentiation test, and SCT. Frequency analysis and content analysis were conducted for this study. The results of the study were summarized as follows. First, more students with high level of parentification described positive contents about home atmosphere and their marage aspiration. Students with high level of parentification described harmonious or conflictful family atmosphere and students with low level of parentification described having economic hardship, patriarchal attitude. Second, more students with high level of self-differentiation described mostly positive contents about father. As to the cognition about mother, mixed results were showed by items. Students with high level of self-differentiation described mostly understanding me and intimate relationship, on the other hand, students with low level of self-differentiation described loving family members, relationship with great fondness about father. Students with high level of self-differentiation described mostly understanding me, and students with low level of self-differentiation described mostly loving me about mother.
