국내 소셜 네트워크 게임시장은 모바일 소셜 게임을 중심으로 크게 변화해 가고 있다. 특히 카카오톡 게임하기가 관련 시장 성장을 빠르게 이끈 가운데 <애니팡>과 같은 게임들이 일 매출 억원~10억원대 이상의 매출을 올리고 있다. 그러나 이러한 국내 소셜네트워크게임의 이용수명이 대체로 짧은 것으로 나타나 생명력과 충성도를 높이기 위해 국내외 모바일 소셜게임들의 GUI 속성별 표현에 관한 연구를 진행하였다. 그 결과 모바일 소셜 게임의 GUI는 간단한 조작과 자극적인 효과를 위해 복잡한 게임정보영역이나 불필요한 교류, 다양한 공간의 구성 등은 이루어지지 않고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 그로 인해 게임의 색채는 화려하고 자극적인 경우가 많았으며 다양하지만 간단한 기능을 갖춘 아이템의 사용으로 게임을 진행하며 자신의 고유캐릭터 보다는 기존의 프로필을 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 비록 간단하고 쉬운 조작과 단시간에 접근할 수 있는 게임이지만 중심 스토리와 주제의 탄탄한 구성이 게임의 GUI구성에 다양하고 강한 영향을 미치며 게임의 생명력에도 영향을 미친다고 볼 수 있다는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.

Changing domestic social network game market is largely focused mobile social games. Especially Kakaotalk Games are reason for the growth of the relevant market quickly. Games like Anipang, I Love Coffee, Dragon Flight are raise the sales of 100 million to 1 billion won or more in a day. However, these domestic social network games are appeared to be generally short lifetime. So by analyzing the domestic and international mobile social games to enhance the vitality and loyalty to mobile social games. This study is on mobile social game`s GUI first. The results showed that the stimulating effect for a simple operation, complex game information area or unnecessary exchanges between users, and a variety of configuration spaces are does not take place. The color of the game was flashy and irritating and varied by their story or concept. Game users use existing profile on each platforms rather than making new unique game characters. And also the results showed that although simple and easy to manipulate and can be accessed in a short period of time in mobile social games, solid configuration of the center of the story and the theme of game has various effects on the configuration of the GUI.
