본고의 목적은 표준 한국어 교육과정 수립을 위한 보고서 국제 통용 한국어 교육 표준모형 개발 2단계(2011)의 중급 문법?표현 항목을 대상으로 중급 항목을 재정련하고 필요 시 항목을 재조정하는 데에 있다. 문법?표현 항목의 선정 및 등급화는 ``문법 기술의 체계성``, ``형태?의미?기능의 균형적 고려``, ``한국어 화자 말뭉치에서의 빈도``, ``교수?학습 현장에서의 실제성`` 등 네 가지 기준을 종합적으로 고려하여 수행하였는데, 교사 및 학습자의 혼란을 방지하기 위해 한국어 평가 시험인 <한국어능력시험>의 초급, 중급 문법?표현 항목과 비교?검토하는 작업을 하였다. 이 연구는 궁극적으로 중급 문법?표현 항목의 내용 기술을 위한 항목 선정과 정련이기 때문에 등급 조정뿐 아니라 대표형 설정, 범주 조정 등에 대해서도 한국어학적, 한국어 교육학적인 논의를 하였다. 앞으로 중급 문법?표현 항목과 관련한 이론적 논의를 발전시켜 중급 문법?표현 항목의 내용 기술에 기여하는 것이 남은 과제이다.

This paper aims at refining the intermediate items of the intermediate grammatical items and expression items in the internationally used Korean education standard model that is for the standard Korean curriculum and to modify items, if necessary. The selection and gradation of grammatical items and expression items are based on (1) the systemicity of the grammatical descriptions, (2) the balance of form, meaning and function, (3) the frequency of the each item in real Korean corpora, (4) the authencity in teaching and learning of Korean language. In addition, we take the items in the elementary and intermediate level of TOPIK(test of proficiency of Korean) into conside ration. Because this study is ultimately the selection and refinement for the description of the intermediate grammatical items and expression items, we discussed the establishing a basic/representative form and the modifying category of certain items besides the adjustment of their grade. In future, we intend to develop the theoretical argument and contribute to the description of the intermediate grammatical items and expression items.
