The name of the remarkable writer of the Russian Abroad of Ivan Lukash still didn``t receive wide popularity and isn``t appreciated. At the same time, its books, and also numerous publications in periodic emigre press and literary magazines of the 20-30th years by all means caused genuine reader``s interest. To it promoted not only Lukash``s extraordinary fictional talent, but also scope of his works. The writer tried to write about the past of the country so that this past recovered on pages of books; the historical reality at Lukash didn``t teach or felt nostalgic about irrevocably left and lost, but adjusted on a certain confidence in the future of temporary prospect. Its historical stories gravitating to a genre of a miniature or, in some cases, of the belletristic``s essay, were under construction not on an epic historico-literary material, and on a joke, the oral legend; historic facts became under its feather "less documentary", but because closer, clear for general public. The history for Lukash is time space of culture, and, generally book culture. The history, according to Lukash, is remade in art signs reality. Objectification here not metaphorical (or - not only metaphorical), and almost literal. The system of the relations between things and their owners is, according to Lukash. Thus, history and fiction communication for the prose writer is undoubted and very considerable, and the historical prose becomes in this outlook practically a prose synonym in general. Out of history there is no movement, therefore, there is no plot also, there is no literature also.
