모던UI는 MS에서 Windows8 OS를 발표하면서 국내에 알려지기 시작했다. 모던UI 형태의 design은 빠른 속도로 웹뿐만 아니라 스마트 폰에까지 적용되고 있다. 국내 사용자들에게 알려져 있는 UI design은 아이폰, 갤럭시 노트, S시리즈 등의 디자인이다. 그렇기 때문에 IOS UI, Android UI등이 사용자들에게는 매우 익숙하다. 하지만 모던UI의 등장과 함께 MS의 Windows phone 사용이 증가하면서 순차적 UI방식에서 벗어난 사용자 직접 접근방식인 모던UI에 대한 관심이 높아졌다. 모던UI는 차별화된 UI설계로 사용자들에게 심미성이 고려된 사용성과 감성을 주는 디자인이다. 본 연구는 사용자의 경험을 극대화하여 구매와 직결될 수 있는 핵심 UI중 Display UI, Interaction UI와 관련된 시각적 요소(아이콘, 레이아웃, 백그라운드)에 적용된 모던UI 사례를 연구할 것이다. 적용사례를 통해 모던UI는 스마트 폰의 단점이었던 클릭오류 현상을 줄이고, 많은 콘텐츠를 지속적으로 표현하는 탭(Tab)을 통해 잘 정리하여 보완할 수 있다. 또한 모던UI의 특징 중에서 Vivid한 색상의 사용과 박스형태의 획일적인 레이아웃은 장점이자 단점이 된다. 따라서 사용자의 사용성, 감성에 따른 색상 모듈 그리드에 대한 연구와 박스형태의 다양성이 결여된 획일적인 레이아웃 문제에 대한 제안을 통해 향후 유비쿼터스 시대에 필요한 UI연구의 시작이 되길 바란다.
Modern UI became known in Korea as MS announces Windows8 OS. Modern UI type design is applied to smart phone as well as to web apace. UI designs that is well known to domestic users are designs shown in i-phone, Galaxy note and S series. Therefore, IOS UI, Android UI are very familiar to users. However, due to appearance of modern UI, MS increased the use of Windows phone, and interest in modern UI which is user-direct access type which is out of sequential UI type was increased. Modern UI is the design that provides usability with low click error which considered esthetic element and story-oriented sensibility to users with differentiated UI design. The purpose of this study is to study case of modern UI that is applied to visual element (icon, layout, background) related to Display UI, Interaction UI among core elements that can be directly connected to purchase by maximizing experience of user. From the application case, modern UI can reduce click error which was weakness of smart phone, and it could be compensated by organizing with Tab which continuously shows many contents. Also, among the features of modern UI, use of vivid color and uniform layout can be strength and weakness at the same time. Therefore, it is hope to be a start of UI study which is needed in future ubiquitous era from the study about usability of users, emotional color module grid, and proposal for problem about box type of uniform layout with lack of diversity.
