본 연구는 UCC 프로젝트 기반 학습(Project based learning)을 10차시 개발하여 적용한 후 메타인지와 과제집착력에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보았다. 본 연구에서 적용된 UCC 프로젝트 기반 학습은 2009 개정 교육과정의 과학과의 내용을 바탕으로 개발하였다. 학습내용은 지구와 우주 분야의 지구와 달, 태양계와 별(초등 5학년), 태양계, 별과 우주(중 2학년), 천체의 운동(고 2학년) 등의 단원에서 관련된 주제에서 학생수준을 고려하여 다양하게 선정하였으며, 수업과정에서 UCC를 제작하여 발표회를 실시하는 방법으로 구성하였다. UCC 프로젝트 기반 학습의 실험 처치는 총 10차시(5주간)로 구성하였으며, 계획단계(2차시), 실행단계(6차시), 결과단계(2차시)로 실시하였다. UCC 프로젝트 기반 학습이 과학영재의 메타인지와 과제집착력에 미치는 효과를 살펴보기 위해 U 광역시 과학관 주관으로 운영하고 있는 우주과학교실 초등영재반(초등 5학년) 20명 학생을 선정하였다. 검사도구는 메타인지와 과제집착력 검사지를 사용하였고, 연구의 결과 분석은 종속표본 t-검정으로 분석하였다. 연구의 결과로는 UCC 프로젝트 기반 학습은 과학영재의 메타인지(t=2.453, p=.025) 형성에 긍정적인 효과가 있었고(p<.05), 과학영재의 과제집착력(t=3.011, p=.008)에도 효과가 있었다(p<.05). 본 연구를 통해 UCC 프로젝트 기반 학습이 과학영재들의 메타인지와 과제집착력 향상에 도움이 된다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study was to find the effects of ucc project based leaning on metacognition and task commitment for the scientific gifted students. For this purpose, this research developed ucc making program based project based leaning. This program was totally consisted 10 lessen. there was 3 part in this program. It contained planning stage(step 1-2), execution stage(step ~), result stage(step 9-10). To find of ucc project basic leaning on metacognition and task commitment for the scientific gifted students. 20 participants was selected. these students were attended at a scientific gifted class(5th grade) of an elementary school located in Ulsan. And the results were analyzed by SPSSWIN 18.0. The results of this study were as follows. First, ucc project based leaning was a positive effects on metacognition of the scientific gifted students(t=2,453, p=.025). Second, ucc project basic leaning was a positive effects on task commitment of the scientific gifted students(t=3.011, p=.OO8). According to this research. ucc project based leaning was verified to improve metacognition and task commitment on the scientific gifted students. It will be contribute on the curriculum construction of the gifted school or gifted class.
