이 연구는 2011 특수교육 기본교육과정 진로와 직업의 교수·학습 방법을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구의 방법으로는 문헌연구와 조사연구이며, 조사연구의 대상은 고등학교 진로와 직업 교과용 도서를 개발한 25명의 전문가이다. 문헌연구 결과, 강의, 토의, 협동학습, 시범, 견학, 시뮬레이션, 역할놀이, 문제해결학습, 프로젝트, 탐구학습, 정보통신기술(ICT) 활용, 홈프로젝트, 현장실습, 지역사회중심학습, 작업중심학습, 모듈, 신문 활용의 17가지 교수·학습 방법들이 진로와 직업과 관련이 있었다. 이러한 교수·학습 방법들이 2011 기본교육과정 진로와 직업에 어느 정도 적합한지 조사한 결과, 작업중심학습, 지역사회중심학습, 현장실습, 시범, 견학, 협동학습의 6가지가 매우 적합한 것으로 평가되었다. 그 다음으로 역할놀이, 시뮬레이션, 강의, 홈프로젝트, 모듈의 5가지가 적합한 것으로 평가되었다. 이 연구에서 탐색한 진로와 직업 교수·학습 방법들과 진로와 직업 교사용 지도서에 제시된 교수·학습 방법들과의 관련성을 분석하거나 진로와 직업의 단원, 제재, 활동을 지도하기 위한 교수·학습 방법을 예시하는 등의 구체적인 후속연구를 기대된다.

The study investigates instruction and learning methods of Career & Vocation Subject in the Fundamental Education Curriculum of 2011 via literature review and survey for twenty-five professionals in the area. Based on literature review, seventeen instruction and learning methods were selected: lecture; discussion; cooperative learning; demonstration; field experience; simulation; role play; problem solving learning; project study; inquiry learning; use of information & communication technology; home project; internship in school or in the community; community based learning; work based learning; module; and use of news papers. Among them, work based learning, community based learning, internship in school or in the community, demonstration, field experience, cooperative learning were rated as the most appropriate teaching and learning methods in Career & Vocation Subject by twenty-five professionals who developed high school textbook and teachers`` guidebook of the subject. Then, role play, simulation, lecture, home project, and module were rated as appropriate teaching and learning methods. The implications of the study and further study tasks were discussed.
