Xingtang dialect shares many characteristics with Jin (Shanxi) dialect. The construction ‘V+dong+(O)+(lou)`` is one typical example. This thesis examines the semantic features of the verb which can be used in ``V+dong+(O)+lou`` construction while analyzes those noun objects which cannot enter this construction. The conclusion is that the ``O`` here is a non-referential object, and the non-definite object are not allowed to enter this construction; while a single referential element which belongs to both non-referential element and definite referential element can enter this ‘V+dong+(O)+Lou`` construction.
