The article researches on "Speak(說)" type verbs in the Southern and Northern Dynasties by using the theory of semantic field. The period of the Southern and Northern Dynasties was an important period of the Chinese language history. In that period the vocabulary was filled with the characteristics of the times, and literature material was relatively rich, however, the material was very complicated. We chose Song Annals(宋書)、Shishuoxinyu(世說新語)、ShiSongLv(十誦律) to analyze "Speak(說)" type verbs. We mainly analyze the evolution and development of related words in the field. At the same time, we made the combination and polymerization relationship. it`s to analyze the differences and similarities of vocabularies changes in different kinds of literatures by comparing the usage of basic vocabularies.
