こ的論文は、四天王寺的創建緣起に關する考察である。四天王寺的創建に關する記事は『日本書紀』に見られるが、二つ的說があり內容に混亂が見られる。そして、現存する文獻では『上宮聖德太子傳補闕記』に初めて玉造から荒陵へと移轉したという說が登場するが、そこには玉造が「岸」だと記されている。これはかつて大阪平野が海（湖）だった頃的景觀を反映したも的であろう。そして、こ的移轉說は『四天王寺緣起』や『聖德太子傳歷』に採用され、四天王寺的公式的な歷史として定著していき、さらには四天王寺以外でも知られるようになっていた。例元ば法隆寺でもこれを前提とした議論が展開されて書り、中世的聖德太子傳では、津波が玉造にあった四天王寺を破壞したため荒陵に移轉したという說末で登場していた。

In this article, I discussed Temple History of Shitennoji-temple.『Nihonshoki(日本書紀)』describes a foundation of the Shitennoji-temple, but there is confusion in its descriptions.『Jougu Shoutokutaishi-den Hoketsuki(上宮聖德太子傳補闕記)』 insisted for the first time that the Shitennoji-temple had relocated from Tamatsukuri to Arahaka and that Tamatsukuri had been near the shore. This description reflected an old landscape -- Osaka Plain had been the sea (lake).『Shitennoji- Engi(四天王寺緣起)』and『Shoutokutaishi Denryaku(聖德太子傳歷)』adopted the description about the relocation as an official opinion of the Shitennoji-temple. Then it became well recognized in other temples such as the Horyuji-temple(法隆寺), a monk of which made use of the description. In the Middle Ages, some biographies about Shoutokutaishi insisted that Shitennoji-temple was destroyed by a tsunami which made it relocate to Arahaka.
