한국이 동북아시아의 물류허브국가로 도약하기 위해서는 국제공항의 환적 항공화물 허브로서의 중추적인 역할이 필요하다. 즉 한국이 동북아시아 지역의 주요한 물류허브가 되기 위해서는 인천국제공항이 환적화물의 허브로서의 역할이 매우 중요하다고 판단된다. 본 연구는 환적화물과 관련된 전략평가모델인 T-S(Trans-shipment)모델을 이용하여 한국의 항공화물 시장의 성장과 발전을 위한 전략적 우선순위를 식별하고자 하였다. 실증연구에 있어서 환적화물의 증가에 영향을 주는 전략요소들의 상대적 중요도를 식별하기 위해 항공화물 분야에 관련된 전문가를 6개 그룹으로 구분하여 설문을 실시하였고, 분석방법은 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) 방법을 이용하였다. 본 연구의 T-S모델은 지표를 활용하여 전략적 우선순위를 용이하게 판단할 수 있게 하였다. 이밖에 본 연구는 한국 물류허브화의 조기 실현과 국가경쟁력 향상을 위한 중요한 시사점도 제시하고 있다.

For Korea to leap forward as a logistics hub of the Northeast Asia, the international airport needs to take the vital role for trans-shipment air cargo. An international airport (or Incheon international airport) plays the pivotal role as a key logistical hub in the Northeast Asian region. This study identified strategic priorities in order to stimulate the growth of air cargo market by employing the strategy evaluation model of T-S (Trans-shipment). For an empirical investigation, AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method was conducted with surveying industry experts. The industry experts were categorized into 6 groups to discriminate their relative importance in strategic factors influencing the number of transshipment cargo. T-S model enables to set strategic priorities using indexes. This study also provides the critical implications to realize the logistic hub and improve national competitiveness.
