본 연구는 상담자의 진정성과 작업동맹의 관계에서 소진의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기 지역 대학 상담소, 청소년 상담지원센터 및 유관 기관에 근무하는 상담자 240명을 대상으로 진정성, 작업동맹, 소진을 측정하여 매개모형을 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 변인들 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 진정성은 소진과 유의한 부적 상관이, 작업동맹과 유의한 정적 상관이 나타났으며, 소진은 작업동맹과 유의한 부적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 회귀분석을 통해 상담자의 진정성과 작업동맹과의 관계에서 소진의 부분매개효과를 확인하였다. 셋째, 진정성의 하위요인인 진실한 삶, 자기소외, 외부영향수용 중 진실한 삶, 자기소외와 작업동맹 간의 관계를 소진이 부분매개하였으며, 외부영향수용과 작업동맹의 관계를 소진이 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 상담성과에 중요한 영향을 미치는 작업동맹의 선행 변인을 탐색하고 그 변인들 간의 관계를 확인함으로써 상담성과를 높일 수 있는 방안에 대한 기초자료를 제시할 것으로 기대된다. 본 연구 결과와 관련된 상담 및 심리치료에 대한 제언과 연구의 제한점을 논의하였다.

This study was designed to investigate the mediating effect of the burnout in the relationship between authenticity on counselor and working alliance. A total of 240 counselors from various settings in Korea completed questionnaire packets regarding authenticity, working alliance, burnout. The findings of this study were as followed. First of all, as a result of analyzing correlation among the variables above, we found that authenticity showed negative correlation with burnout and positive correlation with working alliance. Moreover, we found that burnout was negative correlated with working alliance. Second, burnout partially mediated the relationship between authenticity and working alliance. Third, burnout partially mediated the relationship between authentic living, self-alienation and working alliance and completely mediated the relationship between accepting external influence and working alliance. This study provide useful informations for effective counseling by investigating the antecedents of working alliance and the relationships between these factors. Finally, implications and limitations of the study with directions for future studies were discussed.
