이 연구는 정확하고 유창한 의사소통을 위한 모국어교육의 지향점을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 연구자는 의사소통의 단위를 구성하는 요소에 주목해 보았다. 지금까지 문법교육 연구가 국어학 연구관점-실증주의에 입각하여 전개되어서 교육 내용의 이론적 타당성은 이미 규명되었다. 이제는 의사소통적 관점에서 사용을 중심으로 전환됨에 따라 교수 방법적 접근이 모색되어야 한다. 교사가 학생들에게 문법을 가르칠때 교실에서의 상호작용은 실제 의사소통을 미리 경험하는 것처럼 효과적이어야 하기 때문이다. 본고에서는 모국어 관용 표현(가능성 표현)을 교실 상호작용으로 학습할 수 있는 방법을 학습자 인터뷰 방식에 의해 고찰하였다. ‘-ㄹ 수 있-’은 술어부에 위치하며 상황에 따라 가장 다양한 의미(능력, 허가, 인식, 산발, 가능성, 필연성)로 해석된다. 이는 국어학자들의 탐구로 규명된 사실이지만 본고에서는 실제 학습자들의 직관으로 그것을 검증해 보였다. 또 학습자로 하여금 이 표현을 ‘줄 알-’의 의미·기능과도 비교하여 의존명사 ‘수’의 다양한 의미를 발견하도록 하였다. 피험자들은 평소의 인식대로 의미·기능을 분석하고 고쳐 말하기 전략을 통해 정확한 의사소통 수준에 도달하였다. 이 실험은 ‘조리 있게 표현하기 (논증하기)’ 훈련으로서 직업교육을 위한 창의적 의사소통교육의 토대로 증명됐으며, 최근 특성화 대학의 국가직무능력 표준 교육과정뿐 아니라 초·중등 진로교육의 방향과도 상관한다. 앞으로 문·이과 통합 교육과정의 핵심 역량을 고려해서라도 의사소통능력은 민족의 정체성을 내포하고 신중하게 발현되어야 한다. 이를 위해 교사는 학생의 표현 문제 상황에 직면함으로써 효과적으로 창의성을 촉진할 수 있다.
The purpose of this study is to search the aim of mother language teaching for accurate and fluent communication. So, under the premise that essential functions of speech education and grammar education are same, integrated practice of Korean learning cources is possible. Through the last researches on grammar education, theological validity is examined. In now, the propositional knowledge must be transformed into authentic knowledge to make up socially in contexts. Actually, the upper researcher’s view is follow the recent tendency of career education in not only the lowest and secondary grades but also national duty competence standard curriculum of specialized college. In this study, researcher observed the phenomenon of using language(possibility expression: multiple meaning of formative noun ‘su’) among L1 learners. In the work for this study, examinees spoke elaborately by meaning & function analysis and recast strategy. Forwardly, L1 learners’ communicative competence must reveal prudently to intend the identity of their race. In addition, key competences in liberal arts & science united curriculum for secondary grades are announced as the policy in nowadays. Key competences are communicative competence, critical-creative thinking and enjoyable competence. If Korean teachers would be faced with students’ expression problems, learners’ creativity may be grew effectively.
