이 연구는 문이과 통합형 국어과 교육과정의 개발 과정을 살피고, 특히 ‘국어과 과목 설정’의 문제를 비판적으로 고찰하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 먼 저 교육과정 개발의 배경이 되는 기저 담론을 확인하고자 한다. 이들은 ‘핵심 역량, 통합, 창의. 인성 및 융. 복합’등을 들 수 있다. 이 가운데 ‘핵심 역량’ 은 현 교육과정 개정을 추동하는 가장 중요한 명제라고 할 수 있다. 다음으로 문이과 통합형 국어과 교육과정 재구조화 논의를 살펴보고자 한다. 무엇보다 이번 교육과정 재구조화의 중점 과제인 ‘교과 체제’를 확인하는 데 집중한다. 일련의 논의를 바탕으로 문이과 통합형 국어과 교육과정 과목 설정의 타당성에 대하여 비판적으로 고찰하고자 한다. 특히 핵심 역량과의 관련성, 독서 과 목의 통합성, 언어와 매체의 타당성, 고전읽기의 모호성 등에 대해 집중하고자 한다. 이 연구는 향후 문이과 통합형 국어과 교육과정의 본격적인 개정 작업 을 위한 성찰과 지향을 담은 논의로서 의의를 지닌다.

The purpose of this study is to consider for development of liberal art and natural science integrated Korean language curriculum. Especially it focused on checking Korean subject setting issues critically. In order to accomplish this research purpose, this study checks base discourses which is a background of curriculum development at first. These are ¨key competence, integration, creativity；character, convergence〃, and ¨key competence〃 is important thesis among them in this curriculum revision. And then this study arranges reconstruction ways of liberal art and natural science integrated Korean language curriculum. Especially, ¨subject system〃 would be mainly checked due to it is a focus point of a reconstruction. Based on this, the validity of Korean subject setting by the ministry of education have to be considered critically. It is focusing matters, ¨relationship with key competence, integration for Reading subject, validity of Language and Media, ambiguity of Classic Reading〃.
