이 연구에서는 대학 신입생들을 대상으로 자기 소개하는 글쓰기를 실시한 후 사전사후 검사, 설문조사 등을 통해서 수사적 맥락에 대한 피드백이 대학생 글쓰기에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 초고와 재고에 대한 평가 결과를 검증해 본 결과 계획하기-내용 생성하기-내용 조직하기-표현하기 등 글쓰기 과정의 전 영역에서 학생들의 글이 향상되는 결과가 확인되었다. 설문조사를 통해서도 학생들의 초고에 대한 만족도보다 재고에 대한 만족도가 큰 폭으로 상승된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 결국 수사적 맥락에 대한 피드백 지도가 학생들의 글쓰기능력과 태도 향상에 도움을 주었음을 알 수 있다. 이 연구에서 얻을 수 있는 시사점을 정리해 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 글쓰기 지도 과정이니 피드백 과정에서 계획하기 단계에서 요구되는 글쓰기의 목적, 독자, 상황 등에 대한 인식을 강조할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 교수학습의 방법으로서 교수자의 개인적 피드백, 피드백 강의, 샘플 피드백, 동료 피드백 등 다양한 피드백 자원을 적극 활용할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 대학생 글쓰기 지도의 목표를 담화공동체와 소통할 수 있는 글쓰기능력 향상에 둘 필요가 있다.

This study examined the effects of the feedback focusing on rhetoric context for college students` revision of their own writing. The writing task was self-introduction and students revised their own writing after received the instructor’s follow-up lecture and individual written feedbacks. Data from a survey and scores from the pretest and posttest about the quality of writing based on 6 standards were gathered and analyzed. This study found out that the quality of students’ revised drafts was improved throughout various dimensions such as planning, idea generation, idea organization, and expression. Students’ self-satisfaction and evaluation of their revised drafts were clearly higher than the first draft based on the results of survey. Results of this study showed the effects of the feedback focusing on rhetoric context for the quality of students’ writings and their attitude toward writing. Some implications and suggestions were proposed for intervention and further research.
