본 논문은 사고력 향상에 대한 한문교육의 접근방법에 대해 직접교육 접근법과 한문교육, 간접교육 접근법과 한문교육, 통합적 접근법과 한문교육 등의 세 방면을 중심으로 검토하여 ``통합적 접근법``이 다른 교육방법에 비해 한문교육에 상대적 효율성을 지닌다는 사실을 확인하였다. 그리고 현재 사용되고 있는 2009 개정 교육과정을 반영한 통합교과서의 내용과 체제를 분석하여 교육적 효용성을 점검한 결과간접교육 즉 교과서적인 지식 전달에 치중된 편제를 확인할 수 있었다. 그리하여 변화하는 교육여건 하에서 학생들의 사고력을 발달시키고 국가사회가 기대하는 다양한 핵심 역량을 증대시키기 위한 방법으로 한문 교과의 안정적인 위치 확보, 교과내용과 사고의 연관성이 증대된 내실 있는 교과서 개발, 교사에 대한 다양한 연수의 기회 부여 등을 제시하였다.

This study examined improve of thinking skills focusing on three fronts which are direct educational approach, indirect educational approach, integrated educational approach, on review of the procedure. As a results, it identified that ‘Integrated educational approach’ is more effective than other educational approach. It is verified that textbook was heavily centered on the transfer of textbook knowledge by analyzing the content of textbooks and the system of textbooks currently being used to reflect the revised curriculum 2009. To change this society and education conditions under which students develop thinking skills of various classes of core competence as a way to boost the Chinese education is come to expect stable course materials, ensuring the proper status as subjects, a substantial development of textbooks and various training opportunities for teachers, such as was proposed.
