본고는 김기림 텍스트에 나타나는 ‘감상성’의 문제를 해명하고, 이를 통해 꿈과 환상의 “리얼리티”를 재현하고자 하는 김기림 문학적 양 상을 규명하고자 한다. 흔히 기존 연구에서 그의 문학을 과도한 관념성 과 피상적 모더니즘으로 규정한 것은 김기림 텍스트의 ‘의도된’ 재현 양상을 간과한 것이라 판단된다. 그가 언급하는 ‘리얼리티’란 단순히 사실적인 것의 반영이라는 차원을 넘어서는 개념에 입각해 있다. 따라 서 “프리미티브한 직관적 감상성”과 “비상성(非常性)”의 표현이란, “진 실의 리얼리티”를 재현하는 것과 연동된 개념으로 파악되어야 한다. 이는 김기림의 도시-텍스트가 현실을 비판적 태도를 보인다는 점 이상 의 부분, 즉 그의 텍스트가 지닌 이미지의 문제가 도시-세계의 이면 속 에 존재하는 잠재적 가능성을 추구한다는 점과 관련을 맺는다. 김기림 이 언급한 지성과 기술은 이러한 미학적 지향점을 통해 해석될 필요가 있다. 본고는 「금붕어」, 「바다와 나비」, 「쥬피타 추방」을 통해 이를 고찰하고, 김기림 문학의 지향점을 예술가적 산책자의 개념으로 의미 화하고자 했다.

This study aims to discuss the sentimentality of Kim Ki-rim’s text, with regard to the special aspect of his poetics in representing the “reality” of dream and illusion. Generally, Kim Ki-rim’s text has been explained in terms of its superficial modernism and excessive ideality. But a noteworthy point of Kim Ki-rim’s text is that his reality is an unique conception and goes beyond a realistic description. In other words, the expression of primitive intuitional sentimentality and non-generality is a signified representation of truth-reality. This is related to the fact that Kim Ki-rim’s city-text has an intention of the potential possibility of representing the “reality” of dream and illusion, which goes beyond the critical reality. Analyzing “Goldfish”, “Sea and Butterfly” and “Jupiter Exile” carefully, this study exposes Kim Ki-rim’s aesthetic orientation on the artistic flaneur’s concept.
