본 연구의 목적은 침체되어있는 국내 프로야구시장에 실질적으로 팬들이 인식하는 프로야구 상품의 질적인 향상을 위해 프로야구를 하나의 상품으로 두고 자체 상품의 질을 결정하는 요인들을 분석하고, 관람 만족 및 재관람 의사와의 인과관계를 규명하여 향후 프로야구의 발전을 위해 활용할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 표집방법은 서울잠실야구경기장과 수원야구경기장에 ‘2007 삼성 PAVV 프로야구’를 관람하기위해 온 방문객들을 모집단으로 설정하고 비확률 표본추출법 중 편의추출방법(convenience sampling)을 이용하였다. 총 430부의 설문지를 배포하였으나 410부의 설문지만이 실제분석에 사용되었다. 회수 된 자료는 Windows for SPSS ver. 15.0 통계패키지와 Amos 7.0을 이용하여 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도 검증, 상관관계분석을 실시하였으며 본 연구의 가설 검증을 위해 구조방정식모형분석을 이용하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 경기 및 선수 관련 요인은 재관람 의사에 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 응원팀 관련 요인은 관람 만족에 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 응원팀 관련 요인은 재관람 의사에 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 관람 만족은 재관람 의사에 영향을 미쳤다.

This study was aimed to analyze factors which determine quality of professional baseball in korea and to identify relationship between spectating satisfaction and repurchasing intention. To accomplish of this research, data for this study was collected from spectators(n=430) who visited seoul jam-sil ball park and su-won ball park to watch ``2007 Samsung PAVV Professional Baseball`` game. For data analysis, SPSS statistical computer package 15.0 and AMOS 7.0 were used to verify exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, Cronbach``s α, structural equation model(SEM). The results of this research were as follows; First, factor related on game and player significantly influenced repurchasing intention. Second, factor related on support team meaningfully affected spectating satisfaction. Third, factor correlated to spectating satisfaction significantly influenced repurchasing intention.
