본고에서는 2011년 3월 11일 동일본대진재 이후 일본의 문학에 대해 고찰한다. 동일본대지진과 후쿠시마 원전사고를 겪은 일본이 ‘재난 후’ 어떠한 문화적 변용을 경험했으며 앞으로 어떠한 길을 걷게 될 것인지를 문학을 통해 가늠해보고자 하는 것이다. 진재시(震災詩)라 할 만한 다양한 시가 여러 시인들에 의해 만들어졌다. 본고에서는 시인와고 료이치와 ni_ka의 시에 주목했다. 소설에서도 가와카미 히로미 『가미사마 2011』, 후루카와 히데오 『말들이여, 그래도 빛은 무구하고』 등 동일본대진재 관련 작품들이 다수 발표되었다. 3.11 이후 발표된 관련 작품의 경향으로는 크게 ‘과거로의 회상’과 ‘미래로의 상상력’을 들 수 있다. 이토 세이코 『상상 라디오』는 DJ 아크(ark)의 ‘상상 라디오’ 말하자면 죽은 자의목소리, 당사자의 목소리를 듣고 대화할 수 있는가가 가장 중요한 물음이었으며, 나가시마유 『물음 없는 답』은 3.11 이후 새로이 제기된 ‘공동체’의 문제를 우회적으로 묻고 있었다. 3.11 동일본대진재로 희생이 된 사람들을 앞에 두고 우리는 잊지 않겠다는 마음과 변하겠다는 약속을 지켜나가야 할 것이다. 그리고 여전히 미안하다고 해야 할 것이다. 이에 대한 응답이자흔적으로서 본고는 3.11 동일본대진재로부터 3년여가 경과한 현재까지를 조감하는 동시에 앞으로 나아갈 길을 ‘문학’ 속에서 묻고자 했다.

This paper examines Literature of Japan after the 311 Earthquake. I want to view whether Japan have had any cultural transformation after 311 and also would consider the future steps of Japan`s literature due to the Fukushima Nuclear Disaster. Poetry of the 311 Earthquake were written by various poets. This paper focused on Wago Ryoichi and ni_ka. A number of novels have been published too, for example, Kawakami Hiromi`s Kamisama 2011 and Hurukawa Hideo`s Umatachiyo soredemo Hikariwa mukude. There are two kinds of flows, recollection of the past and the imagination of the future. The most important theme of Sozo Radio by Ito Seiko is whether it is possible or not that you can hear and talk to the dead. Toi no nai Kotae by Nagashima Yu is asking for the role of community after the 311 Earthquake. We have to keep our promise to the victims of 311 that we won`t forget ever and will try our best to change the situation. We all feel guilty for the disaster and have to say I`m sorry. This paper summarized the past and predicted the future of Literature in Japan after the 311 Earthquake.
