본 논문은 독일 팝-문학과 ‘처녀들의 기적’이라는 문학현상으로만 이해되는 유디트 헤르만의 서사미학을 재평가하고, 그녀의 작품세계를 개별적 분석을 넘어 하나의 유기적이고 발전적인 네트워크로서 포착하고자 하는 시도이다. 이를 위해 과도한 호평을 받았던 첫 번째 작품『여름별장, 그 후』 및 그녀만의 스타일이 극대화되었던 두 번째 작품 『단지 유령일 뿐』에 대한 재검토와 함께, 국내에서는 아직 한 번도 다루어지지 않은 세 번째 작품집 『알리스』를 분석대상 텍스트 중 하나로 삼아, 시간과 함께 점차 성숙해져 가는 독일 젊은 세대의 모습을 그려내 보고자 한다.

This study is reevaluating Judith Hermann`s art of the literacy, which can only be explained by the literary phenomenon, “German`s Pop-literature” and “A Female Wonder”. Furthermore, this study is attempting to capture her world of literacy not only a separate analysis but also as a systemic and developmental network. In order to do so, reevaluation of her first work Summerhouse, later and Nothing but ghosts, which was the maximization of her style of literary work. Her third literary collection Alice became the main focus of this study for the first time in Korea, hoping to describe the maturing young generation of German.
