송순에 대한 연구는 그동안 여러 각도에서 많이 이루어졌다. 송순의 문집인 『면앙집』에는 560여수의 한시가 실려 있다. 이 중에서 교유관계를 엿볼 수 있는 작품은 비교적 높은 비율을 차지하고 있다. 이 연구는 지금까지 연구성과를 토대로 송순 한시에 나타난 교유의 양상에 대하여 논의하였다. 특히 사제지간의 정을 담은 작품들과 동료지간에 믿음과 우정을 담을 작품들을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 사제지간에 관련된 작품 이야기는 크게 두 가지로 나누어 살펴볼 수 있다. 먼저 당대 최고 절의가이자 문장가로 추앙 받아온 박상, 박우 형제의 가르침을 통하여 이름을 드높였다는 점이다. 송순은 자신이 학자가 되기까지 두 분의 가르침이 많았다며 늘 두 형제에 대한 은혜를 잊지 않았다. 두 번째는 송 순의 삼종 당숙으로 소문난 청백리인 지지당 송흠(1559~1547)과 전북 태인의 취은 송세림(1479~?)으로부터 직간접적인 수학을 통하여 풍류시인으로서 인정받았다는 점이다. 송순 한시에 나타난 동료와의 신의에 대하여 살펴보았다. 송순은 인품이 온유돈후하여 많은 사람들로 하여금 신의를 저버리지 않고 돈독한 정을 유지하며 지냈다는 것을 그의 작품과 함께 살필 수 있었다. 동료들과 시를 주고받으며 서로의 마음을 전달하고 이해하며 조화로운 시작 활동을 하였던 점이 주목된다. 송순의 한시 속에 드러난 교유 양상을 보이는 작품들은 이 밖에도 스님과의 교분과 별시나 만시를 통하여도 연구가 이어져야 할 것이다.

Research on Song Soon has been made so far from various perspectives. Song Soon`s anthology Myeongangjip contains some 560 Sino-Korean poems. A relatively large portion of them give us a glimpse to his association relationships. Based on the outcomes of previous studies, this study discussed the pattern of association observed in Song Soon`s Sino-Korean poems. The discussion was particularly focused on his poems describing his affection in teacher-student relationships, and his faith and friendship with colleagues. Poems related to teacher-student relationships are largely categorized into one of two stories. One is that Song Soon won a reputation by the teachings of brothers Park Sang and Park Woo who were revered as the greatest men of fidelity and writers in those days. Saying that he owed his being a scholar to the two brothers, Song Soon never forgot his indebtedness to the brothers. The other is that Song Soon was acknowledged as a refined poet through direct and indirect teachings of Jijidang Song Heum(1559-1547) who was Song Soon`s uncle and was famous as a man of integrity and of Song Se-rim(1479-?) in Taein, Jollabuk-do. This study also examined Song Soon`s faithfulness to his colleagues observed in his Sino-Korean poems. His works suggest that Song Soon had a gentle and affable personality, being faithful to many people and exchanging affection with them. It is notable that he had harmonious poem writing activities through exchanging poems with his colleagues and sharing his heart with them. Song Soon`s Sino-Korean poems exhibiting his association pattern need to be studied also based on his poems on friendship with Buddhist monks, farewell poems, and requiems.
