본 연구에서는 1994년부터 2013년간 국내·국제 학술지에 게재된 학술논문을 내용분석하여 국내와 국외의 집단상담 치료 요인에 관한 연구 동향을 이해하고 이를 바탕으로 바람직한 추후 연구의 방향과 방안을 전망하고자 하였다. 국내와 국제 학술지 논문으로 구분하여 발표연대, 학술지 유형, 연구방법, 연구설계, 집단원 연령대, 임상집단여부, 집단 초점, 치료적 요인의 유형 등에 따른 논문편수를 분석하였으며, 4영역의 치료적 요인 유목을 새로 구성하고 높은 순위로 나타난 치료적 요인에 대해 순위별로 가중치를 부여하여 환산한 치료 요인의 점수를 발간연대, 집단원 연령대, 집단초점별로 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 토대로 국내 집단상담 치료 요인 연구의 경향과 특징을 설명하고 추후 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze contents and research trends about therapeutic factors of group counseling studies. Also, the author intended to suggest directions and tasks for the future studies of this topic. For this study, group counseling related journals published domestically/internationally for recent twenty years (1994-2013) were analyzed. International and domestic articles were systematically coded and compared by their published year, journal types, focus of groups, group members’ characteristics, applied research methodology, and mean scores of highly ranked therapeutic factors. Domestic group counseling research trends and characteristics of therapeutic factors based the results were addressed. At last, suggestions for the future research were discussed.
