본 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 내현적 자기애, 평가염려 완벽주의, 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움, 내면화된 수치심과 사회불안간의 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 4년제 대학교에 재학하고 있는 대학생 469명의 자료를 수집한 뒤, SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 18.0을 사용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 내현적 자기애, 평가염려 완벽주의, 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움, 내면화된 수치심, 사회불안은 정적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 평가염려 완벽주의는 내현적 자기애와 사회불안을 완전매개하면서 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움은 내현적 자기애 및 평가염려 완벽 주의와 사회불안을 간접적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 내면화된 수치심은 내현적 자기애 및 평가염려 완벽주의와 사회불안을 간접적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 본 연구가 갖는 의의와 제한점 및 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.

This study aimed to examine the relationship between covert narcissism, evaluative concerns perfectionism, fear of negative evaluation, internalized shame, and social anxiety. The subject were 469 college students at 4 universities. The data was analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. The results of this study were as follows: first, covert narcissism, evaluative concerns perfectionism, fear of negative evaluation, internalized shame and social anxeity showed a positive correlation. Second, evaluative concerns perfectionism mediated the relationship between covert narcissism and social anxiety. Third, fear of negative evaluation mediated indirectly the relationship between covert narcissism and social anxiety. Fourth, internalized shame mediated indirectly the relationship between covert narcissism, evaluative concerns perfectionism and social anxiety. Finally, the implications and limitations of this study, and the suggestions for further study are discussed.
