한류의 지속성과 확장성을 위해서는 Glocalization전략이 필요하다. 한류 수용국의 특성에 따른 맞춤형 한류의 생산과 유통이 필요하다는 것이다. Appadurai등의 기존 연구에 따르면 한류 수용국에 대한 연구에서 소비자에 대한 연구뿐만이 아니라 해당 국가의 문화적 특성을 파악하는 것이 평형을 이루게 되는 문화접변의 과정 즉, 한류의 지속성과 확장성의 측면에서 중요하다는 것을 알 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 Hofstede의 6가지 문화적 차원이론을 분석의 틀로써 필리핀 문화를 분석하고 그 중 네 번째인 불확실성 회피지수가 한류 콘텐츠의 불법적인 소비에 관계가 있음을 제시하고 이에 대한 다양한 사례를 논의하였다. 불법 유통에 대한 대응방안으로써 번들 상품의 기획, 감시 감독 강화,수용국 구매력에 상응하는 콘텐츠 가격 책정 등을 제시하였다.

In order to propose some alternatives to Korean Wave’s continuity and expandability, it is necessary to establish Glocalization Strategy. According to the Korean wave audiences Characteristics, we need a variety of production and distribution of the Customized Korean Wave. In accordance with Appadurai’s study, it is important that the present study conducted a custom research from the perspective of glocalization strategy by taking into account the cultural characteristics of countries that enjoyed the Korean Wave content. The study picked the Philippines, which was not considered as a subject in the previous studies, as the subject country by considering its expansion stage of the Korean Wave, unique cultural characteristics, and economic exchanges with South Korea in size. This study analyzed the Philippines culture using Hofstede 6 culture dimension study. I bounce around the uncertain avoidance of Hofstede 6 culture dimension is closely related with their consumption for Korean Wave via illegal distribution. I suggest planning a bundle of goods, enhanced surveillance and strate-gic pricing corresponding to the receiving country purchasing power on contents are countermeasures for the illegal distribution.
