The purpose of this study is to propose a plan to enhance number of bikers in Korean society. A comprehensive research of Korean and foreign countries public policy and infrastructure on the road bicycling and consider successful example and compare it to Korean policy. The Korean public policy enforced insufficient bike friendly policy on intersections, and bike lanes. The study also suggests that a bike only signal is necessary on the bike only lane and a modification is necessary on the public policy regarding the protection of the bikers on the crosswalk. An improvement of integration with the public transportation by providing not only bike parking near the transfer stations but also increase bike share programs.
