이 연구는 국어과 교사의 수업 전문성 신장을 위한 방안으로 수업 코칭의 사례를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다.이를 위하여,수업 코칭이 필요한 이유와 의미를 탐색하였고,수업 코칭의 절차 모형을 구안하여 제시하였다. 이러한 모형을 적용한 국어과 수업 코칭의 사례를 통해서 수평적 교사 공동체에서의 동료 코칭의 중요성을 부각하고,코칭 과정에서 코치와 수업자간의 대화적 의사소통과 성찰의 과정이 중요함을 강조하였다. 수업 코칭은 수업자가 코칭 과정을 통해서 스스로 자신의 수업에 직면하고 문제점을 발견하며, 잠재된 수업 역량을 도출해낼 수있는 효과적인 전문성 신장 방안이 될 수 있다.

This study relates to a method of developing professionalism in teaching of Korean language teachers, with the purpose of revealing the meanings and procedures of coaching in classes and of proposing detailed cases of coaching in classes. Coaching in teaching is revealed to assist individual teachers to independently resolve problems by consistently providing opportunities of reflection. This study has emphasized the importance of a conversational relationship between teachers and the essentiality of a construction of a cooperative communicational relationship with regard to coaching in classes. Coaching in teaching is a process of assisting teachers to confront problems occurring in classes through internal reflection and to improve upon such issues.
