본 논문에서는 발화자의 정보에 대한 파악이라는 지식관리의 관점에서「そうですね」의 세 용법을 통해서 「そうですね」가 다양한 장면에서 쓰이는 이유를 「そうですね」의 의미기능을 분석하여 살펴보았다. 그 결과의 의미기능으로서 상대방의 발화내용을 타당하다고 인정하는 한편, 동시에 발화내용의 주제에 대해 다른 선택지(내용)도 타당함을 배제 시키지 못하는 것이라고 지적하였다. 즉「そうですね」는 상대의 발화내용의 주제에 대해 발화에 나오지 않는 다른 선택지(내용)도 동시에 타당성을 인정하는 형식으로 결론지었다.

This study explores that the reason why “SOUDESUNE” is appeared after variety of its previous utterence by reviewing the meaning of, functions of “SOUDESUNE” on the three uses from knowledge-administration of point of view. Author revealed that meaning of, functions of “SOUDESUNE” is that the speaker of “SOUDESUNE” judges the proposition of its previous utterance is appropriate about the subject but judges different proposion is also appropriate. Author also made it clear that “SOUDESUNE” has the feature that the speaker of “SOUDESUNE” judges the different proposion which does not appear is appropriate about the subject.
