정보화의 발전과 함께 이에 대한 중요성은 증가하고 있으나, 건축설계에서의 체계적, 종합적인 지식정보기반 환경으로의 추진은 중소규모 건축사사무소의 열악한 환경으로 인해 미흡한 실정이다. 건축설계 환경은 지식정보기반 건축설계체계를 위해 BIM 기술력을 연계하여 활용하는 환경으로의 구축이 필요하다. 이는 중·소규모 건축사사무소의 설계지식을 수집, 저장하고 활용하는 방법과 이를 구체적이고 객관적으로 나타내는 지표, 이를 손쉽게 평가하고 문제점을 올바르게 처방하는 평가시스템의 개발이다. 따라서 본 연구는 BIM 기반 건축설계정보를 관리하는 방법을 모색하고, 진단하는 지표를 적용하여 중·소규모 건축사사무소의 업무환경의 지식정보 활용수준을 측정하고 진단 및 처방방안을 제시하는 시스템 개발을 연구의 목적으로 하고 있다.

With the development of information technology, its importance has increased.But compared to this, business environment of small and medium-sized design office is a poor situation in a systematic and comprehensive knowledge information-based environment. To solve this problem in Architectural design environment, it is necessary to build in an environment to take advantage in conjunction the BIM technical capabilities for architectural design system of knowledge information infrastructure. In order to realize this, it will require a specific, objective indicator and gathering knowledge of small and medium-sized design offices, how to store and utilize. Also it will require the development of a rating system to evaluate and prescribe this problem properly. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to develop a system to measure the knowledge of the business environment, utilization levels of small and medium-sized Architectural Design Firms to find a way to manage the BIM-based architectural design information, and presents a diagnosis and treatment plan.
