본 연구는 한국 성인의 대인관계 유능성 척도를 개발하고 그 타당성을 확인하였다. 기존의 문헌과 대인관계 유능성 척도를 참고하고 연구진 내브레인스토밍 과정을 거쳐 5요인 총 18문항의 척도를 구성하였다. 2명의 심리학 박사가 척도의 내용타당도를 확인하였고, 탐색적 요인분석을 위해 서울, 경기 지역에 거주하고 있는 20∼49세 사이의 성인 444명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 요인분석 결과 4요인 구조가 적절하다고 판단하였고, 4개의 요인은 총 변량의 약 56%를 설명하였다. 각 요인 은 ``타인에 대한 이해와 배려, 자기 개방, 관계 형성, 권리나 거부에 대한 의사표현``으로 명명되었다. 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 확인된 요인구조의 안정성을 재확인하기 위해 서울, 경기 지역에 거주 하고 있는 20∼49세 사이의 성인 400명을 대상으로 설문을 조사하였고 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 4요인 구조의 구성타당도가 양호하였고, 표준화된 회귀계수가 .50 이하, 다중상관제 곱치가 .30 이하인 2개의 문항을 제외한 총 16문항을 최종 문항으로 선정하였다. 최종 문항의 내적 일치도는 .871로 양호한 수준이었다. 준거 타당도 확인을 위해 정신적 웰빙을 준거 변인으로 설정하였고, 대인관계 유능성과 정신적 웰빙 척도간에 정적 상관을 보였다. 이러한 결과는 대인관계 유능 성이 클수록 정신적 웰빙 수준이 높음을 의미한다.

This study undertook the development and validation for interpersonal competence questionnaire in Korean adults. Considering to previous studies and brain storming, the scale was composed of 5 factors-18 items. Two licensed clinical psychologist identified facial validity of this scale, and then 444 adults who live in seoul and Gyeonggi-do and aged between 20 to 49 were surveyed. As a result of exploratory factor analysis, 4-factors structure which explained 56% of total variance was extracted and each factor named as recognition and consideration for other people, self-disclosure, relationship initiation, expression for right and reject. To re-identify validation of 4-factors structure, confirmatory factor analysis for 400 adults who live in seoul and Gyeonggi-do and aged between 20 to 49 was conducted. As a result, validity of 4-factors structure was good. Finally, 2 items which standardized regression coefficient was below .50 and SMQ was below .30 were excluded. A total of 16 items were chosen and internal consistency coefficient was appropriate as .871.
