본 연구는 컴퓨터 작문 연구의 특성과 쟁점을 살펴보기 위하여 2000년 이후 국내 학술지에 게재된 컴퓨터 작문 연구의 특성을 분석하고 종합하는 연구를 수행하였다. 수집 된 국내 컴퓨터 작문 연구는 총 111편이며, 연구 유형, 연구 주제, 연구 방법으로 구분된 기준 질문을 활용하여 내용을 분석하였다. 국내 컴퓨터 작문 연구에서 공통적으로 드러나는 연구 특성은 크게 세 가지로 정리할 수 있으며, 연구들이 다른 견해를 내보이고 있는 쟁점 또한 두 가지로 정리할 수 있다. 컴퓨터 작문 연구의 특성을 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 컴퓨터 작문 연구가 시대의 흐름을 반영하여 네트워크 환경에서의 작문으로 집중되고 있다. 둘째, 컴퓨터 작문 연구는 작문 교육과 연계하여 컴퓨터 작문 교육을 목표로 하는 연구가 중점적으로 수행되었다. 셋째, 컴퓨터 작문 연구는 이론적 기반을 마련하기 위해 문헌 연구를 중심으로 수행되었다. 컴퓨터 작문 연구의 쟁점은 여러 가지 용어의 혼용과, 개념의 미정립, 교육에 반영하기 위한 방안의 체계화의 필요성 등을 들 수 있다. 컴퓨터 작문 연구에서 비롯되는 쟁점을 합의해 나가는 과정에서 컴퓨터 작문 연구는 작문 연구분야에서 특성을 가진 영역으로 자리매김 할 수 있을 것이다.

In order to look into features of computer writing researches, this study analyzed and summarized the features of the computer writing researches published in scientific journals in South Korea since 2000. A total of 111 computer writing researches conducted in South Korea were collected as research targets. In regard to the first feature of the computer writing researches, they focus on trends of the times and investigate composition in the network context. Second, several of the computer writing researches aimed to learn computer writing education in association with writing education. Regarding the third feature of the computer writing researches, the computer writing researches prepared their theoretical foundations via literature research. As far as this study understands, as the researchers try to find directions to their settlements on any issues on the computer writing researches, they will be finally able to make the computer writing research recognized as an area of originality and characteristics in the field of writing research.
