본고는『인형의 집』수용 과정에서 『인형의 집』과 ‘노라’가 중국과 식민지 조선에서 각기 어떻게 재편성되었는지 살펴본다. 양국의 수용 주체와 수용 전략을 중심으로 같고다름을 비교함으로써, 『인형의 집』수용의 차이에 따른 연극사적 의미를 고찰한다. 『신칭니엔』의 후스는 서양에서 형성된 수용 주체로서, 중국의 구습이 지닌 문제의 자각과 실천을통해 서구적 근대로 나아가기를 희망했다. 『신여자』는 일본의 영향으로 형성되었지만 식민지 조선의 여성 현실을 인지하고 타파하고자 했다. 양국에서 형성된 주체의 차이는 『인형의집』과 노라에 대한 해석도 다르게 이끌어 냈다. 『신칭니엔』의 노라는 근대적 중국 민족의모범적인 인간상으로 탈바꿈하였고, 식민지 조선의 『人形의 家』에서는 노라가 보수적인 여성 담론에 저항하는 인물로 그려졌다. 이러한 관점을 무사히 안착시키기 위한 수용 전략 또한 은밀하면서 과감하게 이루어졌다. 『인형의 집』 수용에서 나타나는 차이를 통해 적극적인 근대 주체로 올라서는 실천의 한 형태라는 의미를 찾을 수 있으며, 나아가 이러한 실천들이 서로 부딪히면서 근대극을 형성해 나갔다는 관점 또한 확보할 수 있다.

The purpose of this research is to accomplish a goal to reveal characteristic features of a modern drama by looking into the acceptance of A Doll`s House. Xin Qingnian considered discontinuity of Chinese tradition as their modern point of view, and the justification of their modern point of view was ensured by collectivized Xin Qingnian. In Korea, Sin-yeo-ja overcame patriarchal perception regarding colonized Korean women and reflected their power of execution. Nora influenced the shaping and creation of Chinese modern drama. This is because the goal of venturing away from old tradition is the same as the aim of modern drama for which China needed to expose and overcome the harmful effect of their tradition. however, A Doll`s House didn`t have a prominent influence on Korean modern drama because the target end point of revealing and overcoming the reality as a colonized country and the target end point of women`s liberation in A Doll`s House collided with each other. It showed characteristics in shaping modern drama with selective interpretation and acceptance according to modernized direction.
