본고에서는 조선 후기 연작 회인시의 흐름 속에서 雲皐徐有英의 회인시를 살펴보았다. 우선 특징적인 것으로는, 서유영이 황해도 삼등으로 유배가 있었던 1868년 겨울에 연작 회인시를 지었다는 점이다. 여타의 연작회인시와는 달리, 유배객이라는 배경이 자리 잡고 있어 일반적인 회인시에서 볼 수 있었던 경향의 작품도 새로운 의미로 다가온다. 序文에서, 金나라 元好問의 「論詩絶句」를 모방하여, 詩社의 동인을 대상으로 33수의 작품을 지었다고 밝힌 바 있다. 그러나 두 사람을 대상인물로 한 수의 작품을 지었으며, 33수의 회인시 뒤에 또 금강산의 僧인 頹雲堂과 의령의 詩妓英喜를 대상으로 한 2수의 작품이 추가되어 있어, 서유영의 연작 회인시는 36인을 대상으로 한 총 35수이다. 시사의 동인을 대상인물로 했다고 했지만, 安鑽같은 경우에는 의령 현감으로 있을 때 교유했던 인물이다. 대상인물 중에는 故人도 포함되어 있다. 작품의 이해를 돕기 위해 대상인물에 대한 정보나 혹은 과거 교유했던 흔적을 附記한 점이 특징 중 하나라 하겠다. 작품은 쓸쓸함과 그리움, 그로 인한 비애가 주된 정조이다. 일반적인 회인시와 크게 다르지 않지만, 당시 유배객이었다는 것을 환기한다면 그정조의 깊이는 일반적인 회인시와는 다른 의미로 다가온다. 시사 동인에 대한 자부심을 노래하면서도 현재의 모습을 연이어 묘사하여, 과거와 현재를 충돌시켜 비애감을 조장했다. 知己에 대한 그리움이나 해후에 대한기대, 그리고 한적한 삶에 대한 열망이 작품 곳곳에 보이는데, 이는 유배객의 처지가 배경으로 자리한 절실한 소망이었다. 서유영과 동일시기에 연작 회인시를 지은 趙冕鎬, 李裕元, 南秉哲등의 회인시와 비교 검토한다면, 당대 시사 및 시단의 흐름을 파악하는데 적지 않은 도움이 될 것이며 서유영만의 특징적 일면도 더 부각되리라 생각한다.

At this Study, I considered Seo, yoo-yeong`s Heoinsi in the passage of series-poem in the late Chosun Dynasty. Preference, at this poems` special feature, Seo, yoo-yeong created series-poem in 1868`s winter. He was an offender that in Hwanghaedo Samdeung. His series-poem was different other series-poem. He was a deportee, for that reason that could discovered hot meaning by his series-poem At a preface, I disclosed that he imitated Won ho-mun`s 「nonsijeolgu」, and he created 33 poems by a group of Poetry Socienty. But, among 33 poems, the one poem was included 2 people, and it was added 2 poems that a priest Toeundaung lived in gumgang mountain and a Kisaeng lived in Uiryeong behind 33 poems. so, Seo, yoo-yeong`s series-poem was made 35 poems and object 36 people. He made by an object character that the same person of Poetry Socienty. but he was the chairman of Uiryeong. and he associated with Anchan. It was included the deceased in the middle of an object character. and It was added that information about an object character or traces about the past companionship. The atmosphere of this work was been solitary, nostalgia and sorrow. It wasn`t different general Heoinsi, but he was an offender. so, depth of his chastity was different that general Heoinsi. This work was continuously described a present state that was explained self-conceit about the same person of Poetry Socienty, and was promoted grief that clashing the past and the present. It was looked at a longing about a close friend or an expectation about a fortuitous meeting, and a fervent hope about retired life. however, This work came into view his serious hope an offender`s situation. If Seo, yoo-yeong`s Hoeinsi was examined Hoeinsi of Cho, meon-ho, Yi, yoo-won, and Nam, beong-chul etc that was helpful to seize of poetry circles and Poetry Socienty in those days. therefore, I considered that be embossed a peculiarity of Seo, yoo-yeong.
