This study started focused on the point that the pragmatic text analysis of media language which is being discussed in the communication area is closely related with cognitive abilities of human. In addition, the purpose of this study is to show the possibility of interdisciplinary convergence, thinking that cognitive analysis of media language is sufficiently useful for activation of college students writing in this age. For analysis of detail media language, the researcher approached to ‘advertising text reading’ and ‘pragmatic meaning analysis principle’ using ‘cognitive principles’ and grafted phased analysis to writing. As a result, it was of great help for students to extend their thinking and could get a detailed results.
